LOCATION
The Oxford Museum is located in the heart of historic
Oxford, Maryland, at
100 South Morris Street (across from Town
Park) and overlooking the Tred Avon River. We may be reached by phone (410) 226-0191
or email:info@oxfordmuseum.org. Ample parking is
available either in front of the museum or on the adjacent side street.
Oxford is about nine miles west of Easton, the county seat of Talbot
County and one of the premier historic towns on
the Eastern Shore. The town is on the east end
of the Oxford-Bellevue Ferry, the oldest still-operating ferry in the United States. St. Michaels is located a few miles from the Bellevue terminus. For directions, check out our
Mapquest map.
DAYS and HOURS
Beginning in June we will be open Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays
from 10 to 4 and Sundays from 1-4. The Museum will close on November
15 and reopen on Oxford Day. Unless weather prohibits, we will staff
the Museum on Saturday, December 4, for the Christmas on the Creek
weekend and again on Sunday afternoon, December 19, prior to
caroling in the park.
